Seller Policy

Last updated 22 August 2026

This Seller Policy sets out the operational rules and standards applicable to sellers using the Sleevd marketplace. This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the Sleevd Seller Agreement and any other policies or terms applicable to sellers. By listing or selling products through Sleevd, sellers agree to comply with this Policy at all times.

1. Seller account requirements

Selling on Sleevd is subject to approval by Sleevd. Sleevd may request information or documentation reasonably necessary to verify a seller's identity, business information, payment details or eligibility to use the Platform. Approval to sell on Sleevd does not create an ongoing entitlement to access the Platform. Seller accounts remain subject to compliance with the Seller Agreement and applicable Sleevd policies.

Sellers must ensure that all information associated with their seller account is accurate, complete and current, and must promptly update information that changes.

Sellers are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and for activity conducted through their account. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported to Sleevd promptly.

Seller accounts may not be transferred, sold or shared with another person or business without Sleevd's prior approval.

2. Products permitted on Sleevd

Sleevd is primarily a marketplace for trading card games (TCGs) and related collectibles. Permitted products may include:

  • individual trading cards;
  • graded trading cards;
  • sealed TCG products;
  • card lots and collections;
  • TCG accessories;
  • officially licensed TCG merchandise; and
  • other collectible products or categories approved by Sleevd.

Sleevd may introduce, modify or remove marketplace categories from time to time. A product being technically capable of being listed on the Platform does not necessarily mean that it is permitted under this Policy.

3. Prohibited items and authenticity

Sleevd has a strict prohibition on counterfeit, fake, reproduced, altered or otherwise unauthorised products being listed or sold as genuine. Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that every product they list is authentic, lawfully owned or authorised for sale, and permitted under applicable law and Sleevd's policies.

Prohibited products include, without limitation:

  • counterfeit, fake, proxy or reproduction cards presented or offered as genuine;
  • counterfeit or manipulated graded cards, slabs, certification numbers or grading labels;
  • altered, modified or tampered products where the alteration is not clearly and accurately disclosed;
  • resealed, tampered or reconstructed products presented as factory sealed;
  • stolen products;
  • products that infringe intellectual property rights;
  • products materially different from their description;
  • products the seller does not own or have authority to sell;
  • products prohibited under applicable UAE law; and
  • any product or category specifically prohibited by Sleevd.

Sleevd may remove or suspend any listing it reasonably suspects violates this section and may request photographs, certification information, proof of purchase, provenance or other information reasonably necessary to assess the product.

If a product is suspected or determined to be counterfeit, fake, prohibited or materially misrepresented, Sleevd may cancel or refund an affected transaction, require the product to be returned at the seller's cost, deduct applicable return or resolution costs from amounts otherwise payable to the seller, temporarily hold affected funds, and restrict, suspend or terminate the seller account as appropriate.

Sleevd's review, inspection, possession or fulfillment of a product does not constitute authentication, certification or a guarantee of authenticity. Responsibility for the authenticity and legality of products remains with the seller.

Serious, repeated or intentional violations involving counterfeit, fraudulent or stolen products may result in immediate permanent termination of selling privileges and any other action available to Sleevd under the Seller Agreement, applicable policies or law.

4. Seller responsibility for listings

Sellers are solely responsible for the listings they create. The seller must ensure that all listing information is accurate before publishing a listing. This includes, where applicable:

  • product name;
  • trading card game;
  • set or expansion;
  • card number;
  • rarity;
  • language;
  • edition or printing;
  • condition;
  • grading company;
  • grade;
  • quantity;
  • photographs;
  • description; and
  • price.

Sleevd provides marketplace tools that allow sellers to create and manage their listings. The availability of product information, catalogue information, API data or other listing assistance through Sleevd does not remove the seller's responsibility to verify that the final listing accurately represents the product being offered.

Sleevd may remove or restrict a listing where it reasonably believes that the listing violates this Policy, applicable law or marketplace requirements.

5. Listing accuracy

Listings must accurately represent the exact product being sold. Sellers must not:

  • intentionally use incorrect product information;
  • hide material defects;
  • misrepresent card condition;
  • advertise a different edition or printing;
  • advertise a different language;
  • advertise a graded card with an incorrect grade;
  • use misleading photographs;
  • describe a resealed product as factory sealed;
  • create intentionally misleading titles or descriptions; or
  • otherwise create a false impression regarding the product.

Where an error is discovered, the seller must correct or remove the listing promptly.

6. Product photographs

Where sellers upload their own photographs, those photographs should accurately represent the product offered for sale.

For higher-value cards, graded cards, sealed products or products with material defects, Sleevd may require photographs of the actual item.

Sellers must not intentionally use photographs that conceal defects or materially misrepresent the condition or appearance of a product.

Stock images may be permitted for certain standardised products where allowed by Sleevd, provided the product supplied corresponds accurately to the listing.

7. Raw card condition

Sellers must select the condition that reasonably represents the card being sold. Sleevd may establish or publish condition categories and grading guidance for raw cards. Where such guidance exists, sellers are expected to use it when determining the appropriate condition.

Normal variations in subjective card-condition assessment may occur. However, sellers must not intentionally or materially overstate the condition of a card.

Material defects that may not reasonably be expected from the selected condition should be disclosed in the listing. Examples may include:

  • creases;
  • dents;
  • significant scratches;
  • water damage;
  • ink or writing;
  • peeling;
  • substantial edge damage;
  • material surface damage; or
  • other significant defects.

The Sleevd card condition guide forms part of this Policy.

8. Graded cards

A graded card listing must accurately state:

  • the grading company;
  • the grade;
  • any relevant certification information requested by Sleevd; and
  • any material damage to the slab or holder.

Sellers must not alter, counterfeit or manipulate grading labels, certification information, holders or slabs.

Where requested by Sleevd, the seller must provide sufficient photographs or information to allow the certification to be verified.

9. Sealed products

Products listed as sealed must be genuinely factory sealed unless clearly described otherwise.

Sellers must disclose material damage affecting the packaging, including significant tears, crushing, punctures, broken seals or other defects that may reasonably affect the buyer's purchasing decision.

A product listed in any state other than sealed must carry at least one photograph of the actual copy offered, showing the condition disclosed.

Resealed, tampered or reconstructed products must never be represented as factory sealed.

10. Lots and collections

Listings containing multiple cards or products must clearly explain what the buyer will receive.

The seller must not use photographs, titles or descriptions that create a misleading impression regarding the quantity, rarity, condition or contents of the lot.

Where a photograph is illustrative rather than showing the exact contents, this must be made clear to the buyer.

11. Pricing

Sellers generally determine their own listing prices. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that prices are entered correctly before publishing a listing. Sleevd is not responsible for pricing errors made by a seller.

Sellers must not use misleading pricing practices intended to deceive buyers or manipulate marketplace functionality.

Once an order has been placed, sellers should not cancel an order solely because they subsequently determine that they could have sold the product for a higher price. Repeated cancellations caused by pricing errors may affect the seller's account standing.

12. Inventory availability

A seller may only list products that the seller owns, controls or is otherwise authorised to sell. Sellers are responsible for keeping inventory quantities accurate.

Where the same inventory is offered through multiple marketplaces or sales channels, the seller remains responsible for preventing the same item from being sold more than once.

Repeated cancellations resulting from unavailable inventory may result in account restrictions.

13. Order fulfilment

For Seller-Fulfilled Orders, the Seller must hand the properly packaged order to Sleevd's designated delivery provider within 48 elapsed hours after the order is made available in the Seller Dashboard following payment confirmation, unless Sleevd expressly communicates a different deadline for that order in accordance with the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

The seller must supply the exact product purchased by the buyer. Substitutions are not permitted without the buyer's express agreement through an approved Sleevd process.

Sellers should review order details carefully before dispatch. Repeated failure to fulfil orders within the required timeframe may result in seller restrictions or suspension.

14. Packaging

Sellers are responsible for packaging products appropriately for transportation. Packaging should reasonably protect the product against foreseeable damage during delivery.

Depending on the product, appropriate packaging may include:

  • card sleeves;
  • rigid card protection;
  • team bags or protective wrapping;
  • cardboard reinforcement;
  • bubble protection;
  • suitable boxes or mailers; and
  • other protective materials appropriate to the value and nature of the product.

Sellers must not intentionally package products in a manner that creates an unreasonable risk of damage. Sleevd may publish additional packaging standards or minimum packaging requirements.

15. Shipping

Where sellers are responsible for dispatching an order, they must follow the shipping method and instructions specified by Sleevd. Where Sleevd provides a shipping label or designated logistics provider, sellers must use that shipping method unless otherwise authorised.

Sellers must not manipulate tracking information or falsely mark an order as dispatched.

Risk and responsibility for shipping-related issues will be determined in accordance with the Seller Agreement, applicable Sleevd policies and the circumstances of the shipment.

16. Order cancellations by sellers

Seller cancellations should be exceptional. Valid reasons may include circumstances such as:

  • the product has been lost or damaged before dispatch;
  • a genuine inventory error;
  • a material listing error; or
  • another legitimate circumstance preventing fulfillment.

Sellers must not routinely cancel orders because:

  • the market value of the product increased;
  • another buyer offered more;
  • the seller changed their mind; or
  • the seller wishes to avoid Sleevd fees.

Sleevd may monitor seller cancellation behaviour. Repeated or abusive cancellations may result in warnings, account restrictions, reduced marketplace privileges, suspension or termination.

17. Buyer receipt and order confirmation

Buyers may be provided with the ability to confirm that an order has been received and accepted. Buyer confirmation is an important part of the Sleevd transaction process.

The buyer inspection period, and what the expiry of that period does and does not settle, is set out in the Buyer Protection & Dispute Policy.

Following buyer confirmation, the transaction may be treated as completed and the seller's funds may become eligible for release in accordance with Sleevd's payment procedures.

Buyer confirmation does not prevent Sleevd from investigating exceptional circumstances involving suspected fraud, counterfeit products, stolen goods, payment fraud, legal requirements or deliberate misconduct. This exception is intended for serious circumstances and should not be treated as an ordinary extended return or complaint period.

18. Buyer claims and disputes

Buyers are expected to inspect products promptly after delivery and raise legitimate issues through Sleevd's designated dispute process. Potential grounds for a claim may include:

  • incorrect product received;
  • missing products;
  • materially incorrect condition;
  • material undisclosed damage;
  • suspected counterfeit product;
  • product materially inconsistent with the listing; or
  • other qualifying circumstances recognised by Sleevd.

Sellers must cooperate reasonably with Sleevd during a dispute. Sleevd may request photographs, packaging evidence, shipping information, listing information, communications or other evidence from either party.

Sleevd may determine the appropriate resolution based on the available evidence, the Seller Agreement, this Policy and any applicable buyer policies.

19. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are not automatically available merely because a buyer changes their mind, except where required by applicable law or expressly permitted under Sleevd's policies.

Where Sleevd determines that a seller materially misrepresented a product, supplied the wrong product, supplied a counterfeit product or otherwise failed to fulfil the order correctly, Sleevd may require an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • return of the product;
  • full refund;
  • partial refund where appropriate;
  • cancellation of the transaction; or
  • another reasonable resolution.

Where a return is required, the buyer must follow Sleevd's return instructions.

20.1 Seller fees

Sellers must pay the fees and charges stated in the Seller Fee Schedule in effect when the relevant order is completed or service is requested. This Seller Policy governs Seller conduct and operational requirements and does not establish fee amounts.

The Seller Fee Schedule governs the applicable fee type, calculation base, VAT treatment, fixed processing charge and any fulfillment-related charges.

The Seller authorizes Sleevd to deduct the applicable fees and charges from Seller proceeds or the Seller's available balance in accordance with the Seller Agreement.

20.2 Payment availability

Seller proceeds become available in accordance with the payment process described by Sleevd. Funds may remain pending while an order is:

  • awaiting shipment;
  • in transit;
  • awaiting delivery;
  • awaiting buyer confirmation;
  • subject to a dispute;
  • under investigation; or
  • otherwise subject to a legitimate payment hold.

Sleevd may deduct amounts properly owed under the Seller Agreement, including applicable marketplace fees, refunds, chargebacks, adjustments or other authorised amounts.

21. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Where a buyer initiates a payment dispute or chargeback, sellers must reasonably cooperate with Sleevd in providing information required to respond.

Sleevd may temporarily hold relevant funds while the matter is investigated.

Responsibility for losses arising from chargebacks, fraud or payment disputes will be determined in accordance with the Seller Agreement and the circumstances of the transaction.

22. Communication with buyers

Sellers must communicate professionally and respectfully. The following behaviour is prohibited:

  • harassment;
  • threats;
  • abusive or discriminatory language;
  • intimidation;
  • attempts to manipulate a dispute;
  • requests for false reviews;
  • attempts to pressure a buyer into closing a legitimate claim; or
  • other inappropriate marketplace conduct.

Where Sleevd provides an internal communication system, sellers should use that system for transaction-related communications whenever reasonably possible.

23. Off-platform transactions and fee avoidance

Sellers must not use Sleevd primarily to identify or acquire buyers and then deliberately move the resulting transaction outside Sleevd in order to avoid marketplace fees or protections. Prohibited conduct may include:

  • requesting direct payment for a product discovered through Sleevd;
  • directing a buyer to another marketplace to complete the same transaction;
  • cancelling a Sleevd order to complete it privately;
  • providing payment details for the purpose of circumventing Sleevd; or
  • otherwise intentionally avoiding fees associated with a transaction originating through Sleevd.

Sleevd may restrict or terminate sellers who repeatedly or deliberately engage in fee avoidance.

24. Reviews and marketplace feedback

Sellers must not manipulate Sleevd's review or feedback systems. Prohibited behaviour includes:

  • creating fake transactions for reviews;
  • offering compensation in exchange for misleading reviews;
  • threatening buyers because of reviews;
  • coordinating false reviews;
  • using multiple accounts to manipulate ratings; or
  • pressuring buyers to remove legitimate negative feedback.

Sleevd may remove reviews where it reasonably determines that they are fraudulent, abusive, unrelated to the transaction or otherwise violate marketplace policies.

25. Seller performance

Sleevd may monitor seller performance to maintain marketplace reliability. Relevant factors may include:

  • order fulfillment rate;
  • seller cancellation rate;
  • dispatch performance;
  • buyer complaints;
  • condition disputes;
  • authenticity concerns;
  • inventory accuracy;
  • responsiveness;
  • dispute behaviour; and
  • compliance with Sleevd policies.

Sleevd may introduce specific performance standards or thresholds as the marketplace develops. Failure to maintain acceptable performance may result in corrective action.

26. Sleevd fulfillment

Sellers using Sleevd Fulfillment are subject to the separate Sleevd Fulfillment Policy, which governs all requirements relating to inventory submission, receiving, inspection, storage, fulfillment, withdrawals, fees and related operational procedures.

The Sleevd Fulfillment Policy forms part of the applicable seller terms and must be followed by any seller using Sleevd's fulfillment services.

27. Policy violations

Where Sleevd reasonably believes that a seller has violated this Policy, Sleevd may take action proportionate to the nature, seriousness and frequency of the violation. Actions may include:

  • providing guidance or a warning;
  • removing a listing;
  • temporarily restricting listings;
  • cancelling affected orders;
  • requiring corrective action;
  • limiting access to Sleevd Fulfillment;
  • temporarily holding affected funds;
  • temporarily suspending selling privileges;
  • permanently terminating seller access; or
  • taking another reasonable action necessary to protect buyers, sellers, Sleevd or the marketplace.

Sleevd is not required to apply enforcement measures in a particular sequence where the circumstances justify immediate action.

28. Serious misconduct

Certain conduct may justify immediate suspension or termination without a prior warning. Examples include:

  • intentional sale of counterfeit products;
  • fraud;
  • sale of stolen goods;
  • deliberate manipulation of transactions;
  • repeated fee avoidance;
  • threats or serious harassment;
  • falsification of evidence;
  • deliberate misuse of buyer or seller information;
  • serious abuse of the dispute process; or
  • conduct exposing Sleevd, its users or service providers to material legal, financial or reputational risk.

29. Investigations

Sleevd may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. During an investigation, Sleevd may request information or evidence from the seller and may temporarily restrict affected listings, transactions, payouts or account functionality where reasonably necessary.

Sellers are expected to cooperate with legitimate investigations. A failure to provide reasonably requested information may affect Sleevd's ability to resolve the matter and may result in account restrictions.

30. Repeated violations

Repeated minor violations may collectively constitute a serious marketplace-performance issue.

Sleevd may consider a seller's overall account history when determining appropriate enforcement action.

The absence of enforcement action in relation to an earlier violation does not prevent Sleevd from acting in relation to subsequent or repeated violations.

31. Policy changes

Sleevd may update this Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to marketplace functionality;
  • new product categories;
  • operational requirements;
  • fulfillment processes;
  • fraud or safety risks;
  • legal or regulatory requirements; or
  • improvements to marketplace standards.

Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, email or another reasonable method where appropriate.

Continued use of seller services following the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, subject to applicable law.

32. Relationship with the Seller Agreement

This Policy supplements the Sleevd Seller Agreement.

If documents conflict, the following order of precedence applies only to the subject matter of the conflict: (a) mandatory applicable law; (b) the Seller Agreement, for Seller contractual and payment obligations; (c) the applicable subject-specific policy, for its stated subject matter; and (d) the Terms of Service, for general Platform use. A more specific provision prevails over a general provision at the same level. No document overrides mandatory rights.

Nothing in this Policy limits any rights or protections granted to Sleevd under the Seller Agreement.
