Terms of Service

Sleevd is an online marketplace primarily designed for trading cards, trading card games (TCGs), graded cards, sealed products, collectibles, accessories and other products permitted by Sleevd.

Sleevd provides the marketplace through which independent sellers can offer products to buyers. Sleevd does not act as the seller of products offered through the Platform.

For transactions involving third-party sellers, the contract for the purchase and sale of the product is between the buyer and the relevant seller. Sleevd facilitates the transaction and provides associated marketplace services.

Sleevd may also provide additional services, including payment facilitation, transaction management, storage, fulfillment, shipping coordination, customer support and other marketplace-related services. The provision of any such service, including storage or fulfillment of a seller's inventory, does not make Sleevd the seller or owner of that inventory.

Sleevd acts as marketplace facilitator and is not the contractual seller of Products offered by independent Sellers. This allocation of roles does not exclude any obligation or responsibility imposed directly on Sleevd by applicable law in its capacity as platform operator, digital trader, provider, payment facilitator, custodian or fulfillment-service provider.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Platform. Where a user is under the legal age required to enter into a binding contract, the Platform may only be used with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, where permitted by applicable law.

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate and complete account information;
• keeping your account information up to date;
• maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials;
• all activity conducted through your account; and
• notifying Sleevd promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not create accounts using false identities or impersonate another person or business. Sleevd may require identity, contact, payment or other verification where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance or marketplace integrity.

Products available on Sleevd are listed and sold by independent third-party sellers. Sleevd provides and operates the marketplace but does not itself act as the seller of products offered through the Platform.

When a buyer places an order and the order is successfully accepted and processed through the Platform, the buyer agrees to pay the displayed product price together with any applicable shipping charges, service charges or other fees disclosed before checkout.

For third-party listings, sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including the product identity, condition, authenticity, language, edition, grading information and other material characteristics.

Sleevd may establish marketplace rules and listing standards that sellers are required to follow.

Trading cards and collectibles can vary significantly in condition and value. Listings may contain information regarding characteristics including:

• card or product name;
• set;
• card number;
• rarity;
• language;
• edition;
• condition;
• grading company;
• grade;
• certification number;
• photographs; and
• other relevant product information.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing the complete listing before purchasing.

Where Sleevd provides standardized condition categories or condition guidelines, those categories are intended to improve consistency across the marketplace.

For seller-fulfilled products, the seller remains responsible for ensuring that the product supplied materially corresponds with the listing. Products stored and fulfilled by Sleevd may be subject to Sleevd's applicable fulfillment and inspection procedures.

Sellers determine the final selling price of products listed on the Platform unless otherwise expressly stated.

Sleevd may provide estimated market prices, historical prices, suggested prices, pricing trends or other pricing information obtained from third-party data providers, APIs, marketplace data or other sources. Any such information is provided for informational and reference purposes only.

Sleevd does not guarantee that market price information is accurate, complete, current or representative of the price at which a product can actually be bought or sold. Market prices may be affected by limited transaction volume, incorrect third-party data, unusual transactions, market volatility, speculative activity, manipulation or other circumstances outside Sleevd's control.

Sellers remain responsible for reviewing and determining their own selling prices. Where available, sellers may manually adjust the selling price of their listings. Buyers remain responsible for deciding whether the price of a product is acceptable before completing a purchase.

Buyers must pay for orders using the payment methods made available through the Platform. Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. By submitting payment information, you authorize the relevant payment service provider and Sleevd, where applicable, to process the transaction.

An order may be cancelled or rejected where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

• payment failure;
• suspected fraud;
• incorrect or unavailable inventory;
• material listing errors;
• prohibited transactions;
• technical errors; or
• other circumstances making fulfillment impossible or inappropriate.

Where payment has already been collected for an order that cannot be completed, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with the relevant refund process.

Sleevd may hold, delay or otherwise manage the release of transaction proceeds to sellers as part of its marketplace payment and transaction-protection procedures. The purpose of these procedures is to facilitate transactions and provide reasonable time for delivery confirmation, dispute handling, fraud prevention and other marketplace protections.

Following confirmed delivery, the Buyer has 72 hours (3 calendar days) to report an eligible issue through Sleevd. If no eligible issue is reported, the transaction will ordinarily be treated as completed for marketplace purposes and the Seller's proceeds may become eligible for release under Sleevd's payout procedures. The 72-hour period is the deadline for using Sleevd's ordinary expedited marketplace dispute process for issues reasonably discoverable on inspection. Buyer confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not shorten that period. Expiry does not extinguish claims involving latent defects, fraud, counterfeit or stolen goods, or any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

Where an eligible issue is reported within the 72-hour period, Sleevd may delay the release of the relevant seller proceeds while the matter is reviewed. Sleevd may require the buyer and seller to provide photographs, videos, shipping records, communications or other reasonable evidence necessary to assess the issue and facilitate a resolution.

The existence of such procedures does not constitute a guarantee by Sleevd regarding the value, future value or investment performance of any product.

Specific payout and seller payment rules may be governed by the Seller Agreement and Seller Policy. Detailed eligibility, evidence, dispute and resolution procedures are governed by the Sleevd Buyer Protection & Dispute Policy, which forms part of these Terms where applicable.

Shipping charges applicable to an order will be displayed to the buyer during checkout where applicable. Unless otherwise stated, shipping costs are paid by the buyer and are separate from the selling price of the product.

Products may be shipped directly by the seller or fulfilled by Sleevd where the seller's inventory is stored with Sleevd. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information. Additional courier, return-to-origin or re-delivery costs caused by incorrect or incomplete buyer information or other buyer-caused delivery failure may be charged to the buyer to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Shipping, delivery attempts, failed deliveries, lost shipments, courier liability and other delivery matters are governed in greater detail by the Sleevd Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms where applicable.

Certain sellers may store inventory with Sleevd and use Sleevd's fulfillment services. Sleevd may handle storage, picking, packing and dispatch, but its possession, handling or fulfillment of seller inventory does not make Sleevd the owner or seller of that inventory.

Fulfillment services and seller inventory stored with Sleevd are governed by the applicable Seller Agreement, Seller Policy and Sleevd Fulfillment Policy.

Order cancellations, returns and refunds are subject to applicable UAE law and Sleevd's policies in effect at the time of the transaction.

Due to the collectible nature of the products offered through Sleevd, returns for change of mind are not accepted, subject always to any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Once a product has been dispatched by or on behalf of the seller, a buyer may not return it merely because the buyer has changed their mind, no longer wants the product, or has reconsidered the purchase.

If a product arrives damaged, is materially not as described, is the wrong product, or raises a reasonable authenticity concern, the buyer must report the issue to Sleevd within 72 hours (3 calendar days) after confirmed delivery and provide reasonable supporting evidence. Sleevd may facilitate resolution between the buyer and seller, but its involvement does not make Sleevd the seller of the product.

Detailed rules concerning cancellations and refunds are set out in the Sleevd Cancellation & Refund Policy. Eligible post-delivery claims, evidence requirements, condition disputes, authenticity concerns and dispute-resolution procedures are governed by the Sleevd Buyer Protection & Dispute Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Counterfeit, fraudulent, altered or intentionally misrepresented products are prohibited on Sleevd. Sellers must not list or sell counterfeit products and are solely responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the products they list.

Sleevd may remove listings, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold seller payouts where permitted, request evidence, cancel transactions or take other appropriate action where there is a reasonable authenticity concern. Sleevd does not represent or guarantee that seller-listed products have been independently authenticated by Sleevd, and Sleevd's storage, handling or fulfillment of a product does not constitute an authenticity guarantee.

Additional seller obligations concerning prohibited and counterfeit products are governed by the Seller Agreement and Seller Policy, while buyer authenticity claims are governed by the Buyer Protection & Dispute Policy.

Listings for professionally graded cards must accurately identify the grading company and grade. Where applicable, sellers must provide accurate certification information.

Sleevd may permit buyers or sellers to access third-party grading information or certification verification tools. Such third-party information remains subject to the relevant grading company's records and systems.

Sleevd is not responsible for grading decisions made by independent grading companies.

Users must not:

• use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
• sell counterfeit or stolen goods;
• manipulate transactions, reviews, prices or marketplace activity;
• attempt to circumvent applicable Platform fees;
• interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
• access another user's account without authorization;
• use automated systems to improperly scrape, overload or interfere with the Platform;
• submit false disputes, refund requests or payment claims;
• abuse seller discounts, discount codes or other marketplace features;
• harass, threaten or defraud another user; or
• otherwise misuse the Platform.

Sleevd may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action.

Users wishing to sell products through Sleevd may be required to apply for and receive approval for a seller account.

Sellers are additionally subject to the Sleevd Seller Agreement, Seller Policy, and any applicable fulfillment or operational rules.

Where there is a conflict between these general Terms and seller-specific terms in relation to a seller's activities, the seller-specific terms will apply to the extent of that conflict.

Sleevd may charge fees for certain services provided through the Platform. Any fees payable by buyers will be disclosed before the relevant transaction is completed. Seller fees are governed by the applicable Seller Agreement, Seller Policy and Seller Fee Schedule.

Unless otherwise stated, shipping charges paid by buyers are separate from the product selling price and are not treated as part of the seller's product selling price for the purpose of calculating percentage-based seller marketplace fees.

Sleevd may modify its fees from time to time. Any changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated or published as required.

Sleevd may enable sellers to offer discounts or discount codes applicable to some or all of that seller's eligible listings. Sellers are responsible for the discounts they choose to offer, subject to any Platform rules or technical limitations established by Sleevd.

Discounts may be subject to eligibility requirements, validity periods, usage limits or other conditions displayed on the Platform. Sleevd may prevent or reverse the misuse of discount functionality, including where a discount is obtained or used through fraud, manipulation or technical error, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The Sleevd name, logo, Platform design, software, graphics, branding, text and other materials owned or licensed by Sleevd are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Sleevd's intellectual property to users.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from Sleevd-owned materials except where expressly permitted.

Trading card names, artwork, trademarks, logos and other intellectual property belonging to publishers, manufacturers, grading companies and other third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to such third-party intellectual property does not imply sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement unless expressly stated.

Users may upload photographs, descriptions, reviews, messages and other content to the Platform.

Users retain ownership of their content but grant Sleevd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format and use such content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the Platform.

Users must have the necessary rights to content they upload. Sleevd may remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, intellectual property rights or marketplace standards.

Buyers may leave a review of a seller after an order with that seller is complete. Each completed order supports one review, covering item accuracy, packaging, dispatch speed and an overall rating.

Seller reviews must reflect genuine transactions or experiences. Users must not submit fraudulent, misleading, manipulated or incentivized reviews except where an incentive is transparently disclosed and permitted by Sleevd.

Sleevd may remove reviews that violate its policies or are reasonably suspected of manipulation or abuse.

Buyers should use Sleevd's applicable Buyer Protection and dispute procedures to report eligible transaction issues in the first instance where reasonably possible.

If a buyer initiates a chargeback, payment reversal or other dispute through a bank, card issuer or payment service provider concerning the same transaction, Sleevd may suspend or close its internal review of that transaction while the external payment dispute is pending in order to avoid duplicate or conflicting resolutions.

Sleevd may provide transaction records, delivery information, communications and other relevant evidence to the applicable payment service provider, bank or card issuer in connection with an external payment dispute.

Fraudulent, dishonest or abusive use of chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account restrictions, suspension or termination and other action permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section restricts any mandatory payment or cardholder rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Sleevd may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the Platform where reasonably necessary, including where a user:

• violates these Terms or applicable policies;
• engages in fraud or suspected fraudulent activity;
• creates unacceptable security or payment risk;
• repeatedly abuses the dispute or refund process;
• sells prohibited or counterfeit products;
• attempts to circumvent Platform fees;
• violates applicable law; or
• materially harms the integrity of the marketplace.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, Sleevd may take proportionate action depending on the nature and severity of the violation.

Termination or suspension does not eliminate obligations arising from transactions completed before the restriction took effect.

The Platform may rely on third-party services including payment processors, couriers, cloud providers, pricing-data providers, grading companies and other service providers.

Sleevd is not responsible for the independent acts, systems, availability or decisions of third parties except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Sleevd aims to maintain reliable Platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, third-party outages or circumstances beyond Sleevd's reasonable control.

Sleevd may modify, update, replace or discontinue Platform features from time to time.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sleevd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, including loss of profits, opportunity, anticipated savings or changes in the market value of collectibles.

Sleevd is not responsible for losses resulting solely from a user's decision to purchase, sell, hold or price a collectible based on market information displayed on the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user is responsible for third-party claims and reasonable direct losses caused by that user's fraud, wilful misconduct, unlawful activity, or material infringement of third-party rights. This provision does not make a user responsible for Sleevd's own breach, negligence or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or transferred.

Sleevd processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy & Cookie Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

By using the Platform, users acknowledge that certain personal information may need to be shared with sellers, buyers, payment providers, couriers or other service providers where reasonably necessary to process and fulfill transactions.

Sleevd may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, business operations, legal requirements or marketplace policies.

The updated Terms will be published on the Platform together with an updated effective date. Where required by applicable law or where a change materially affects users' rights, Sleevd may provide additional notice.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Users are encouraged to contact Sleevd first so that Sleevd has a reasonable opportunity to resolve complaints or disputes before formal proceedings are initiated.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force to the extent permitted by law.

Sleevd may offer optional leaderboards, vouchers, fee rebates and other promotional programmes. Participation is subject to the specific rules and eligibility conditions published for the applicable programme or programme period. The Sleevd Leaderboard Programme is governed by the Sleevd Leaderboard Programme Rules, which form part of these Terms.

Leaderboard points are promotional accounting units used only to determine rankings. They are not money, stored value, property or a transferable right and cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, withdrawn or exchanged directly for a reward.

Displayed points and rankings may remain provisional until Sleevd completes the eligibility, refund, integrity and anti-manipulation checks described in the applicable programme rules. Sleevd may correct errors, remove ineligible activity and withhold or cancel rewards where permitted by those rules, these Terms and applicable law.

Buyer rewards may be issued as personal promotional vouchers. Seller rewards may be issued as cash fee rebates through ordinary seller payouts. The applicable programme rules govern qualification, issue, use, correction and cancellation.

If these Terms conflict with specific programme rules concerning points, rankings or programme rewards, the specific programme rules prevail for that subject. These Terms continue to govern accounts, transactions, complaints, dispute resolution and all other matters. Nothing in a promotional programme limits a mandatory legal right.

These Terms, together with the policies and additional agreements applicable to a user's activities, constitute the contractual framework governing use of the Platform. Where applicable, this includes the Sleevd Privacy & Cookie Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Buyer Protection & Dispute Policy, Seller Policy, Seller Agreement and Sleevd Fulfillment Policy.

If documents conflict, the following order of precedence applies only to the subject matter of the conflict: (a) mandatory applicable law; (b) the Seller Agreement, for Seller contractual and payment obligations; (c) the applicable subject-specific policy, for its stated subject matter; and (d) the Terms of Service, for general Platform use. A more specific provision prevails over a general provision at the same level. No document overrides mandatory rights.
